 24 lessons I learnt in 2024

1. You are with you, always. 

2. Distance cannot affect your bond with anyone; thoughts affect.

3. Loving yourself a little is not selfishness. 

4. Maturity never comes with age. 

5. Be polite and humble to everyone.  

6. If they want, they will. 

7. Don’t lose yourself for someone. 

8. Be aware of yourself, your body, your emotions, your thoughts, and YOU. 

9. Late is better than never. 

10. Being kind is the most humble practice.

11. Everyone’s perspective is unique and different. 

12. Clear communication can solve any problem.

13. Stay firm in your ethics and principles. 

14. Take care of everyone around you. 

15. Understanding the other sides of stories is equally important. 

16. Don’t lie to yourself. 

17. Think. Work. Execute. 

18. Don’t make judgements and promises in a hurry or with a tangled mind. 

19. Waiting is the hope that keeps us waiting. 

20. Taking a different path is not wrong. 

21. Observation makes life easy and difficult at the same time. 

22. Sleep with the thought of fulfilling the dream tomorrow. 

23. Accept your every mood, and be patient with yourself. 

24. Care and love with a pure heart. 

Like every year, this year has been full of lessons. Every step I took and every decision I made taught me something. I understood life’s a few layers more deeply and implemented changes in myself. This year was filled with thousands of incidents and memories. Held the hands of new bonds and let go of the few. I learned to be true to myself in every phase. 

A poetic heart is safe within its rhymes. 

You are always with you,

In the quiet and the loud,

Distance can’t break a bond

It’s your thoughts, 

that crowd.

Loving yourself? 

Not selfish at all,

It’s the first step to standing tall.

Maturity isn’t 

about the years,

It’s about growing past the fears.

Be humble, be kind, and 

let politeness shine,

If they want it, they’ll be on time.

Don’t lose yourself 

for someone else,

You’re your own, in every cell.

Know your body, your heart, your mind,

Self-awareness is peace you’ll find.

Late’s better than never; 

always remember,

Kindness is a flame that burns forever.

Everyone sees things in their way.

Clear words can turn the night to day.

Stick to your values, stand strong,

Be firm in what’s right, all along.

Take care of the ones by your side,

Understand all sides, 

let no truth hide.

Don’t lie to yourself, 

it’s a dangerous game,

Honesty with you will always reign.

Taking a new path isn’t wrong,

It’s where your heart has belonged.

Sometimes life’s 

both hard and clear,

But observe, and everything will appear.

Let your heart shine pure and true,

With kindness, let the world renew.

In every act of love we share,

We find the beauty in how we care.
