Waiting is a hope.

For warm mornings and calm nights,

We are waiting.

For rainbows and brisk breezes,

We are waiting.

For the gratis moment and a cup of coffee,

We are waiting.

For a fresh beginning and a pleasant conclusion,

We are waiting.

For ourselves and our happiness,

We are waiting.

Waiting is a hope that keeps us waiting.

Waiting frequently has an understated yet significant place in the tapestry of human existence. It is a phenomenon that encompasses all elements of life, from the insignificant to the grandiose, and it embodies hope. Far from being merely the passing of time, waiting is a symbol of our steadfast optimism and a lighthouse of hope that leads us through life's uncertainties. When time seems to stand still during a waiting period, it may appear to be a test of patience. It is a strong display of hope, though, beneath the surface. Waiting suggests that you have something better in store for the future, something worth your while to look forward to.

Waiting conveys the idea that things could, and frequently do, improve. The saying "this too shall pass" perfectly captures this idea. The act of waiting, which serves as a reminder that better days are ahead and the present problems are just temporary, can be a haven during trying times. It is at these times when waiting turns from a mere pause into a ray of hope. It gives us the fortitude to endure, to ride out the storms, and to come out stronger.

Waiting represents the hope that lives in every person's heart and is much more than just a pause between events. It perfectly encapsulates our belief in the future, our optimism in the face of uncertainty, and our dedication to development. Waiting serves as a constant reminder that hope may be a strong force that can carry us through difficulties and move us toward a brighter tomorrow as we negotiate the intricacies of life.

A Pause

Timely pause,
No movements, no work,
Prevail of stillness.

Midnight pause,
Full sparkling moon and stars,
Calming cold breezes.

Social pause,
No talks, no discussions,
Simply observation.

Mental pause,
Feeling everything at rest,
Comprehensive in oneself.

Imaginary pause,
I sense every time during sleep,
No hate, no love just a smile.

My best companion is a book.

BOOK: Whenever I hear this word, it brings a slight smile to my face. Books are the source through which I escape from my routine. When I am angry, stressed, sad, or feeling low, I read. They help me to calm down and be patient.

My journey into reading started when I was in 10th grade. My aunt gave me two books: Black or Pink by Tishaa and Paper Towns by John Green. When I picked up my first book to read, I was very dicey about whether I would be able to read and complete it or just read 20–30 pages and keep it aside. But I completed that book within a month, and I became very obsessed with reading. Whenever I had free time, I used to read. And that started my interest in reading. After those books, I started reading on a regular basis. As I started my reading with fiction books, it was quite difficult for me to switch to non-fiction. You Can Win by Shiv Khera was my first non-fiction book, and it made me read more non-fiction.

Both fiction and non-fiction books teach me different lessons, and I get attracted to the writer’s thinking. I read books of many different genres romance, mythology, plays, biographies, poetry, researches and more.

I love reading hard copies of books, but it's quite difficult for me to read with soft copies because I have the habit of marking or highlighting some points, words, or sentences.

My feelings while reading are always mixed; I even search for or critique those particular sentences that I find different from my own. When I read, I go into a different zone; the real world is switched off for me.

I love to write poetry, and books are the reason behind my interest in writing. I read Walt Whitman’s one poetry book, and after that, I wrote my first poem.

Here I am sharing my emotions for books:

You help me to be patient.

You help me stay motivated.

You help me to calm down,

You help me manage myself.

And You help me to be happy.

I guess I will take more time to write down what books mean to me.

I am a bookworm, and I say it proudly.

My recent favorite books are Sleepwalking by Neelashi Shukla, King Lear (tragedy) by Shakespeare, and Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari.

We are lost..

We are lost in the chaos,

Finding peace.

We are lost in the clouds,

Finding sun.

We are lost in the ocean,

Finding pearls.

We are lost in the maze,

Finding paths.

We are lost in the days,

Finding hopes.

We are lost in the mind,

Finding ourselves.

Lost and Found at the Same Time

It has been a long time since I wrote long-form content, and I realise how much I miss it. After poetry, this is my favourite way of sitting...
