HimadriInHimalayas

A brief about Himachal's Manali tour.

Hello readers, Recently, I have been to Himachal Pradesh with my parents. We went on a road trip and covered multiple tourist spots in the state.

The trip included Manali, Sissu, LaholSpiti, Rohtang, and a few more villages.

We stayed 4 nights in Manali at Hotel Namaste Inn; the hotel was near Beas Valley, a few kilometres away from the main Manali city. The place was so peaceful and beautiful; the river flowed just before our balcony.

The rent was 2900/- per night, which was perfect according to location and vibes.

Initially, in conversation with the hotel staff, we were informed that they would provide us with vegetarian food, but after further conversation, they denied it.

As we are Jains, we require vegetarian food, so in search of that, we went near Mall Road. There we found very few pure vegetarian restaurants. We had our dinner on the first day; they then suggested a place near our hotel named ‘Uncle’s Food Garage.’ Here we found jain food also, but it was very costly. However, something is better than nothing.

Places to visit

  1. Hidimba Devi Temple

  2. Mall road

  3. Vyas kund

  4. Local Market fair

  5. Beas river

 And many more local spots.

Manali’s Mall Road is perfect for shopping and eating, especially during the night. On the street, you will find my attractions like artists showing their talent, and sweet stalls. The market is very lively, they sell mostly handmade products, and people are very kind.

Paragliding and hot air balloon rides are also major attractions near Beas Valley among youngsters.

Near Hidimba Devi temple we did a photo shoot in traditional clothes of Himachal.

Manali is an amazing place to visit with your family and friends but make an initial booking if you are going to visit from May to August because that's peak season and it is difficult to find the places to stay.

From Manali one can book a local taxi to visit nearby places and towns. We went in our car.

One early morning we visited Rohtang Pass which was partially open. We saw the sunrise from there, the experience was surreal, and the place was fully covered with snow.

For the Rohtang pass, we need to do 3 days before booking from the government of Himachal’s website.

We did our bookings through MakeMyTrip.

The trip was amazing and forever memorable.
